With a diverse and extensive background of experience from the golf industry, Storesupport Canada also offers a new and exciting division we like to call “Course Support”.

We specialize in helping golf course owners and operators with their outside and customer services roles.
We understand what a challenge it is to not only hire staff for a golf course operation, but also retain and manage workers during a season while simultaneously trying maximizing vital customer service.

The founders of Course Support, now offer a turn-key solution for the first time ever in the golf industry. Read on....

For Course Owners, General Managers or Directors of Golf:

Imagine only needing to hire your full time employee’s. Instead of running endless job fair’s and going through hundreds of resume’s to find the part-time, seasonal workers that you require, all you need to do is call Course Support and partner with us.

Use our teams of pre-trained staff when you need the extra help for large events during both prime season or shoulder seasons when staff is hard to come by and retain due to things like school commitments.

Course Support will train our work force to know your operation and the essential layout of your course facility. We will create a database of information about your specific requirements and then be your one phone call solution when you need extra hands to run your operations. We can also fill problem gaps in your staffing schedules for emergency situations.

As the course books large event tournaments, weddings, parties or other scenarios required extra staffing, now they can call Course Support and pre-book the required staff month’s in advance and we will guarantee that our people will be on time, knowledgeable, insured for liability and fully prepared.

Some of the on-site services we can offer trained staffing for include:

  • Golf cart staging for events or daily operations
  • Golf cart cleaning and storage
  • Tournament set-up and resgistration crews

  • Golf shop merchandising or inventory counting crews

Generate Extra Revenue!

Now when a golf course owner books an event, they can also make revenue by offering to provide the staffing for extra services to the event coordinators by simply becoming the broker of our crews! If the event being hosted requires additional staff look no further. Storesupport can provide extra event staffing needs which saves time and is hassle free.

For banquet and wedding services where gratuity is factored into the final billing, our staff is instructed to not accept gratuities of any form as they are already compensated in the wage paid. Therefore the value of the gratuity charge often easily pays for the extra help required and can be considered extra revenue to the course.

Time Maximization

In the golf business, every dollar counts and maximizing the effectiveness of your paid labour hours is critical. Now with Course Support, golf course operations can be streamlined and controlled from one simple staffing solution. This will also save on time and generate revenue because of less time being wasted dealing with schedules and dealing part-time employee issues.

Golf Professionals then use their time to teach more lessons, assist members or guests in customer service and attend to golf shop operations such as inventory and shop merchandising. Also avoid burning out your full-time staff and offer them ample rest to recover from the fatigue of a busy golf season. They will then become more effective for you during their scheduled shifts.

Simply book your extra staff with us conveniently and let us handle it from there. Our people will be guaranteed to show up on time, in uniform with a set task to do in a set time frame. Our golf industry experienced team leaders work with your crew leaders to get the most out of your scheduled day.

*Please note that Course Support does not provide crews for the following services:
- Course maintenance, i.e. grass cutting, mechanics.

Taking over our personnel

As Course Support’s personnel are well trained for the services that we supply it is not unheard of that our clients are interested in employing our personnel. We view this in a positive light. If you as a client are in agreement with our personnel that the person wants to work for you, we have a program for taking over personnel. This is also perfect for an employer as they can ‘sample’ how a   candidate functions in your own company’s culture without making a commitment. Candidates can also ‘sample’ if a employer is a good fit for them as well.

The recruitment fee we mutually decide on will be equal to what our company would benefits from the employee if they continued employment with us for 30-60 days depending on the employee and the length of term they have worked for Storesupport. This fee is often far less than using a traditional recruiting service and you have the tremendous advantage of sampling the employee before making any offers of commitments.

In addition we carry out quality follow-ups during the first year of the employment both with you and the person you have employed to ensure you are continually satisfied. We take great pride in seeing employees use our company as a steppingstone to a brighter future in their careers!
